Individual Counseling

Therapy to help you break old patterns, build

deeper connections, and heal from the inside out

Lately, it feels like you’re stuck in the same patterns of managing your emotions, overthinking everything, or shutting down just to get through the day.

You might be the kind of person who looks like they’re holding it together. You show up for others, get things done, and keep smiling when you need to, but underneath the surface, you’re struggling.

Maybe you:

  • Spiral into self-doubt after the smallest interaction

  • Lash out in anger when something goes wrong

  • Struggle to trust your own emotions or instincts

  • Avoid tough conversations and sharing your feelings

  • Feel disconnected from yourself—like you’re going through the motions

  • Crave closeness in relationships but also fear being vulnerable

  • Overanalyze everything, then feel exhausted and stuck

  • Carry a constant sense that something is “wrong” with you, but can’t name what

You might not call it “trauma,” but somewhere along the way, relationships taught you that it wasn’t safe to be fully yourself. Now, even in moments of calm, your nervous system still feels on edge. You’re waiting for something to go wrong, or for someone to leave, criticize, or disappoint you.

It’s exhausting to keep carrying this on your own.

You want to feel connected to yourself. Safe in your emotions. Confident in your relationships. And at peace, even when life feels uncertain.

Therapy is a space where that healing can begin.

My Approach

Our work together will be collaborative, intentional, and tailored to you. I take a trauma-informed, relational approach, meaning we’ll move at your pace, with curiosity and compassion.

We’ll focus on helping you understand your emotional patterns, reconnect with your inner sense of safety, and build a stronger relationship with yourself. That might include traditional talk therapy, skill-building for emotional regulation, or deeper trauma processing work depending on what feels right for you.

For clients who feel ready, I also offer EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a powerful, evidence-based method for helping your nervous system release the emotional charge of painful memories or stuck patterns. EMDR doesn’t erase the past, but it can help you respond to life in the present with more freedom, clarity, and ease.

What Healing Can Look Like

A woman stands triumphantly on a rocky mountain top during sunrise, with arms outstretched, overlooking a lush green valley.

Over time, therapy can help you feel more grounded in who you are and more connected to what really matters to you. In sessions, we’ll explore what’s been getting in the way of the life you want, so you can move forward with more clarity, confidence, and self-trust.

You may begin to notice:

  • More space between emotion and reaction

  • The ability to set boundaries without guilt

  • Greater trust in your instincts and emotions

  • Deeper, more authentic connections with others

  • A sense of peace that doesn’t depend on everything being perfect

You won’t have to figure it all out at once, and you don’t have to do it alone. We’ll take it one step at a time, together.
